Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah witnessed the graduation ceremony of the first and second cohorts of graduates from the Sharjah Education Academy (SEA) on Monday morning at the academy’s campus in the University City of Sharjah.
It is often said that organizational leaders serve at an intersection between two sides of an hourglass. On one side of the hourglass is the staff of the organization. On the other side of the hourglass is the customer base, constituency, client, or stakeholder group of the organization. And the leader is in the middle—the connector of both sides.
The 2021 Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) assessment has revealed promising signs for the future of education in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This international study, which focused on the reading literacy of fourth-grade students, has shown that learners in Sharjah overall have performed well.
The Meriam Webster’s dictionary defines Improvement as “…something that enhances value or excellence.” All over the world many organizations devote their time and effort to such improvement of schools. Here in the Emirate of Sharjah, we are fortunate enough to have the organization Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) who leads all the private schools in this effort.
