Sharjah Education Academy celebrated UAE Flag Day with a flag-raising ceremony in the academy’s premises, with the participation of H.E. Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, President of the Academy, H.E. Dr. Jeanine Romano, Executive Director, and a number of directors of departments and employees. The celebration included playing the UAE national anthem while raising the UAE flag.
H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the Sharjah Education Academy building in the University City of Sharjah.
Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, Sharjah Education Academy Board of Trustees announced the launch of the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) program in Arabic.

H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued Emiri Decree No. 10 of 2023, which states that the Early Childhood Department and government nurseries to be annexed to the SEA.
In collaboration with Invest Bank, Sharjah Education Academy is offering 187 scholarships to teaching assistants eager to join its specialized certificate program in early childhood education. This initiative is part of a partnership agreement established during the opening of the 4th Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education on February 23, 2025.
SEA announced the key recommendations reached during the 4th edition of the Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education, organized with the SPEA and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah. The summit witnessed an attendance of over 7,000 participants who joined forces to help shape a comprehensive, future-ready educational system for Sharjah and beyond.
