Fajir Amin is a Master Trainer in the Early Childhood Program at the Sharjah Education Academy. She has extensive experience in the field of early childhood education. Between 2012 and 2022, she worked as a consultant for educational strategies in various schools in the United States of America. She also worked at the Alef Education platform in the United Arab Emirates from 2017 to 2021. The US State Department chose Amin to represent the Fulbright Program in the UAE. This experience allowed her to study a teacher’s impact on a group of students when they take over teaching them for two or more years in a row, a practice known as looping.

Amin has received several prestigious international awards, such as the United States Teacher of Promise Award, the Outstanding Arab American Award, Phi Theta Kappa Membership, the National Association of Undergraduates Award, the Arnold Virginia Scholarship Award, the John Tyler University Community College Award for Distinguished Achievement and Sustainable Contribution, and the Book Award by Dinah Grossman-Wolfe. Finally, most notably, Amin has received a Fulbright Honor from the US State Department.

Amin holds a master’s degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood from Virginia Commonwealth University, USA, 2012. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (EdD) at Johns Hopkins University in the United States of America. Her thesis topic focuses on the significance of collaboration between parents and schools and its influence on student achievement.

Amin believes that education is an effective tool for achieving personal growth and societal cohesion, which is reflected in her constant eagerness to cooperate with individuals who have innovative thinking, the ability to connect diverse ideas, possess an orientation towards the future, and a passion for the promotion of equal opportunities in education.
