Position Summary
The Copywriter is responsible for writing creative content, in both Arabic and English, for marketing material, digital interactive media, the SEA website, marketing campaigns, and social media posts. Specializing in persuasive direct response and direct marketing writing styles that engage and drive action – developing content that accurately reflects the SEA brand.
Major Responsibilities
• Writing Arabic and English copy for online/interactive marketing projects and digital initiatives
• Develop creative marketing content to promote SEA programs, initiatives, and marketing campaigns
• Entails working with designers and brand stakeholders to ensure copy strategy, tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style
• Copy optimization to drive specific conversion actions/events
• Conduct copy-related research as needed for assigned writing and content projects
• Write and edit press releases, blogs and editorials
• Supporting an efficient copy implementation processes
• Functioning in an environment that leverages a digital content management system and a dynamic website structure (SEO/SEM)
• Ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks under established deadlines
• Providing copy content in a manner efficient for designers and marketers to execute
• Develop a consistent style guide for digital content, marketing collaterals and publications
• Ensures overall consistency across all SEA communication channels (style, fonts, images and tone)
