Dr. Osama Taani s a mathematics educator and researcher with extensive expertise in management, assessment, accreditation, curriculum development, and leadership across PreK-12 and higher education. A Certified Online Educator, he has delivered professional development workshops for Math and STEAM teachers in the USA and UAE, fostering innovative teaching practices. As Chair of the Math Department and Director of Math Education Graduate Programs at Plymouth State University, Dr. Taani demonstrated strategic planning and led accreditation processes with agencies such as the State DOE, CAEP/NCATE, NCTM, and InTASC. In the UAE, he collaborated with the Ministry of Education to oversee the Teaching Practicum process and developed the mathematics education curriculum at the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT). He has received several prestigious international honors, including the Science Education Alliance Award (2009) and the Wixson Endowed Professorship of Mathematics (2014–2017), which recognize his excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. He serves as Editor of the International Journal of Elementary Education and is an Advisory Board Member for the International Institute of Engineers and Researchers.
