H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, attended on Saturday the launch of the Second International Forum of the Arabic Language Teachers, which is organised by the Sharjah Private Education Authority in cooperation with the Sharjah Education Academy.
The Sharjah Education Academy (SEA) has launched the first master’s programme in “Education in Teacher Leadership”, designed in collaboration with the University of Helsinki to complement the Postgraduate Diploma in Education, which was designed by the same university.
Hesham Metwalli is the Director of Accelerator and Special Programs at Sharjah Education Academy. He is a Senior Fellow at the Australian Graduate School of Leadership. He has strategic and state level experience in both Higher Education and K-12.
Tahani Awad has been working as a senior trainer at Sharjah Education Academy since 2022. She has extensive experience in the field of education, training, and professional development, which she gained through holding several positions over a period of 23 years.
Dr. Mona El Samaty has over 20 years’ experience in education, including teaching English as foreign language (TEFL), research, and teacher education.
Dr. Ibrahem Alamoush has over 20 years’ experience in education. Previously to SEA, Dr. Alamoush served as Educational Training Specialist in the Emirates Schools Establishment.
Maysoon Masoud is an experienced Master Trainer in the Early Childhood Program at the Sharjah Education Academy. She has extensive experience in school education, continuous professional development for teachers and school leaders, managing educational research projects, and developing early childhood educational standards.
Khairia Al Kalam is a Senior Trainer in the Early Childhood Program at Sharjah Education Academy. With over a decade of experience in the field of early childhood education, Al Kalam started her career working as a kindergarten teacher and coordinator in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from 2003 to 2017.
Da’ad Hidayah is a Master Trainer at Sharjah Education Academy with extensive experience in the field of education. From 2003 to 2013, she worked on development projects for the Jordanian Ministry of Education (MoE), which included the Education Reform for Knowledge Economy project in its first and second cycles (ERfKE I/ ERfKE II).
Fajir Amin is a Master Trainer in the Early Childhood Program at the Sharjah Education Academy. She has extensive experience in the field of early childhood education. Between 2012 and 2022, she worked as a consultant for educational strategies in various schools in the United States of America.
