Admission Application Requirements

ADMISSION APPLICATION
The application is an entirely online application.  To begin the application process  

1) click on the Apply to SEA link,

2) create a profile,

3) verify your account, and

4) start the application,

DEADLINES AND IMPORTANT DATES

Applicants should fully complete their online applications (and provide requires supporting materials) by the below application deadline:

It is important to begin the process in most cases at least 6-8 weeks prior to the admission deadline to allow for receiving original documents, completing language competency exams, etc.. 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Applicants are required to upload clear scanned copies of original documents as part of the online application process. The accepted file types and requirements for uploaded documents are: PDF, PNG, and JPG. Maximum upload file size: 3 MB.  

Please note, uncertified scans will be accepted to start the application process and for online submission. However, applicants will be required to show certified original documents before enrolling at SEA.  

General Documents

  • Passport scan in color 

  • Government ID/UAE national (for UAE nationals and residents) ID scan in color 

  • UAE residence visa scan in color (for UAE residents)  

  • Current Resume/CV 

Academic Documents

  • Official university Academic Records: 
    • Final Transcript(s)/marking sheet(s)  
    • Graduation certificate/diploma (certified by the appropriate authorities) * 
  • University Grading scale/Marking Scale  
    • For all academic records where the final grades/marks do not include a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) on a 4.0 or 5.0 scale the student must provide access to their university’s official scale.  This is required to determine of the applicant meets the academic qualification  
    • These are sometimes found on the front or back of the transcript/marking sheet, website, or sometimes requires students to get the information directly from their university registration or records office.   
  • English Language Proficiency Test Score 
    • Original test report to be sent directly to SEA Admissions.  

Please note that other documents might be required based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or specific program requirements — For example, any official documents not in English or Arabic must be officially translated by an authorized translation service. 

Note: Applicants who have graduated recently and have not received their graduation certificates can submit a Letter from the Office of the Registrar confirming their graduation date. This letter does not replace the required attested graduation certificate which must be presented, once available, to be able to register for courses. 

ATTESTATIONS
  • Applicants graduating from universities outside the UAE are to certify (attest) documents from the country of origin: certification is required by the authorized educational authority, the country’s ministry of foreign affairs and the UAE Embassy. Applicants graduating from UAE universities are required to certify (attest) documents from the UAE Ministry of Education.  
UAE CERTIFICATE OF EQUIVALENCY
  • Applicants who earned their degree from universities outside the UAE must present Certificate Equivalency as required by the UAE Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Affairs Division. 

All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of AED 100 prior to final submission of the application.
