Dr. Mustafa Toprak brings more than 20 years’ experience in education as a faculty member, researcher, and teacher. Currently as the chair of the Department of Educational Leadership, he is responsible for developing new programs aimed at preparing and enhancing the skills of educational leaders. Dr. Toprak has over a decade of experience teaching English at pre-university and university levels. Prevoiusly, he served as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at the American University in Cairo, where he taught undergraduate and graduate courses and served as the regional editor for Bloomsbury’s Digital Series on Education and Childhood in Egypt. Dr. Toprak has authored more than thirty journal articles in prestigious academic journals, including Educational Management Administration & Leadership (EMAL), Journal of Educational Administration (JEA), International Journal of Leadership in Education, International Journal of Educational Management (IJEM), European Journal of Education, Teaching and Teacher Education, Irish Educational Studies, Education Policy Analysis Archives, and International Migration.
