Dr. Lawrence Meda has nearly a decade and a half of academic teaching and research experience. Dr. Meda has worked as a Curriculum Specialist, Senior Lecturer, and Teaching and Learning Coordinator in two universities in South Africa. Dr. Meda directs SEA’s research endeavors and is building a system of research that provides impact within Sharjah, the UAE, the MENA region, and beyond. He is a certified online instructor, has authored over 75 publications, and possesses extensive experience in supervising masters and doctoral students. Additionally, he has externally examined more than 20 postgraduate theses for universities in South Africa, India, and the UAE. Dr. Meda’s research interests include curriculum studies, inclusive education, educational technology, and teacher education.
