Sharjah Education Academy celebrates UAE Flag Day

Sharjah Education Academy celebrated UAE Flag Day with a flag-raising ceremony in the academy’s premises, with the participation of H.E. Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashimi, President of the Academy, H.E. Dr. Jeanine Romano, Executive Director, and a number of directors of departments and employees. The celebration included playing the UAE national anthem while raising the UAE flag.
On the 3rd of November each year, the UAE flag adorns landmarks, buildings, and homes across the country as a sign of unity, as the UAE celebrates the values of courage, strength, hope and peace, that are embodied in the four colors of the flag. The celebration comes as an expression of belonging and loyalty to the UAE, the principles of its leaders, and the vision of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
